Labor organizer and pro-democracy activist, Zbigniew Bujak, led the Solidarity underground in Warsaw during the Communist era. Bujak participated in the The Round Table Negotiations where he and his colleagues came to a peaceful compromise with communist leaders and initiated movement towards a democratic government. Bujak served on the Polish Parliament for six years and is currently serving as Minister of Customs.
