In opposition of communist rule in Poland, Adam Michnik acted as an advisor to the Solidarity Trade Union Federation and participated in The Round Table Negotiations of 1989. After the fall of Communism, Michnik founded the Gazeta Wybrorcza, Poland's most popular daily newspaper, where he currently acts as editor-in chief.
Congratulations to Adam Michnik, a Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award recipient, who achieved his goals.
