Senal Sarihan (Turkey, 1997)

Writer and human rights attorney, Senal Sarihan has become one of the most influential advocates for freedom of expression and womenís rights in Turkey. Through her organization, The Contemporary Womenís Association, Sarihan organized the largest womenís rights demonstration in the history of Turkey.


Senal Sarihan is currently not an active partner of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial

Due to political exile, health problems or the pursuit of personal endeavors, a number of Laureates are no longer partnered with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights.
